Automobile Drivers Homologation
- FIA 8856:2018
This standard focuses on protecting drivers and mechanics from fire and heat transmission. Testing is conducted on:
- Outer garments: Racing suits, mechanic suits
- Undergarments: Personal underwear, cooling undergarments
- Other items: Socks, shoes, balaclavas, gloves, rainproof overgarments
