We operate in ten countries, assist clients in over 70 countries and have four laboratories in the UK along with one in India. Our offices are in the UK (Manchester and Leeds), Ireland, Bangladesh, China, Kenya, Pakistan, Singapore, Vietnam, India & USA.
Due to a vacancy within the Accounts Team, we are seeking an International Accounts & Compliance Officer based in Trafford Park. Primarily the role is to support the finance function of the international offices. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative with the capability to investigate issues and find solutions independently, be highly analytical, precise, detail orientated and possess excellent attention to detail.
Reporting to the Accounts Manager the main duties are:
• International payroll: Preparing payroll report monthly for authorisation and submission liaising with the appropriate external agencies and including preparation and distribution of payslips
• International expenses: Preparation and reconciliation of expenses with analysis summary for authorisation
• International property (leased): Monitoring lease expiry dates & renewal terms for Director approval and authorisation including processing rent invoices for payment
• Compliance: Considering the requirements/compliance in relation to each country such as filing of accounts deadlines, complying with company law & company formation
• Administration of international bank accounts
• General accounting & administration duties
Qualifications, Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:
• Relevant degree or equivalent / 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong mathematical skills
• Organisation skills and strong ability to prioritise
• Flexibility and willingness to provide support to the rest of the team where necessary
• Strong verbal communication with ability to work cooperatively and assertively with people at all levels and in different cultures
• Advanced excel skills
• Knowledge of SAGE 200 and SAGE CRM advantageous (training can be given)
